The session will cover a wide variety of university life as well as an explanation of UCAS and Student Finance to introduce all aspects of the application process to students and encourage them to consider their future goals. Our team will take students through the variety of courses available to study at university, from subjects they may know to some more unusual options, as well as discussing typical entry requirements to university and course structures and opportunities available as part of studying at university. We’ll also dive into the extracurricular opportunities available at university, from sports clubs to societies to social life, we’ll cover everything available to students and take a closer look at student life as well as studying.
Learning Outcomes
- To develop knowledge of Higher Education, and introduce life as a student
- Enable pupils to understand progression routes to university.
- To introduce and inform students about the application process for Student Finance and UCAS including deadlines.
