North East Raising Aspiration Partnership

The North East Raising Aspiration Partnership is a collaboration of the five universities in the North East of England, working together to support young people to think about their futures and how higher education can help them reach their goals.

We provide a wide range of free in-school and online workshops/activities on a variety of topics on behalf of all of our university Partners for students in Key Stage 2 and 4. Please view our Outreach Activities to see what is on offer!

We are also committed to providing additional support for students who are care experienced or a young carer.  These targeted programmes provide an immersive experience to support young people throughout their educational journey. Click here for our current programme.

Supporting Primary is an in-school activity for pupils in Primary Years 2 – 6 and Middle School Y7. The activity aims to introduce the concept of university and encourage enthusiasm surrounding education and further study.

Primary Transition is an in-school activity for pupils moving from Primary or Middle School to Secondary School. It challenges students with day-to-day activities they’ll encounter in Secondary School, as well as encouraging them to consider what they’re ultimately working towards in the future; both education and career goals.
