Download your 2018 Adviser Guide now, and make sure you have the following key dates in your diary:

Usernames and passwords for Apply advisers

Usernames and passwords for Apply for advisers will be emailed to the primary contacts at registered centres on the following dates:

  • 2 May 2017 – EU and international centres
  • 8 May 2017 – centres in Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland
  • 11 May 2017 – centres in England

The Confirmation, Clearing, and Adjustment brochure is now available, with all the latest information for 2017.

Get your students booked to attend an exhibition

Whether they’re interested in higher education, apprenticeships, volunteering and gap year programmes, or career opportunities, they’re sure to find something that appeals to them. Find a local exhibition and book on!

Let us know if any of your students’ exam details change

Let us know at straightaway if any of your students’ exam details change, and let the unis/colleges know too. If results can’t be confirmed, your student might not get their place.

Key dates

From May to July, there are a number of key dates for when your students need to reply to their offers. Make sure you’re familiar with these.

Do you provide the International Baccaluareate?

If you are a centre providing the International Baccalaureate (IB), you need to make sure UCAS is listed in the IB information system as a provider which has permission to access students’ results. Please contact the International Baccalaureate Organisation to do this.

Funding for EU Students

Changes to healthcare and course finding blog

Last month, we published a blog with Kerry Hemsworth from NHS Business Services Authority, student services. This came after the Government’s consultation into the way some undergraduate pre-registration healthcare courses are funded, specifically for students who are ordinarily resident in England. Booking for 2018 isn’t open yet, however you can get ahead of the game and register your interest.

Extended opening hours

We’re extending our opening hours on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 May to support students replying to offers.

Extra is open!

If your students have used their five choices and aren’t holding any offers, they can use this service to find a place. Check out our Extra module and resources to find out more.

Next month is the 30 June Deadline

Applications received after this date will automatically be entered into Clearing.

Use Adviser Track to keep up-to-date with your students’ applications

Adviser Track can help you keep up-to-date with your students’ applications, so you can give them appropriate advice throughout the year, especially in the lead-up to results days.

Schools Team unavailable in 10 May

Our Schools Team will be unavailable all day on 10 May, due to staff training.

Systems Maintenance

From 18:00 on 12 May until 23:59 on 14 May (UK time), the following services will be unavailable while we carry out maintenance:

  • UCAS Undergraduate Apply and Track
  • Apply for advisers
  • UCAS Conservatoires Apply and Track

From 07:30 on Friday 19 May until 15:00 on Saturday 20 May, we will be making updates to:

  • UCAS Undergraduate Apply and Track
  • Apply for Advisers
  • UCAS Conservatoires Apply and Track

During this time, the above services will be available, however we suggest you and your students avoid making changes.
