NERAP are introducing a new branch of outreach activity in 2021 to support Post-16 care-experienced students.

This programme has many different sessions that aim to engage, inform and inspire students in their educational pathways.

It provides bespoke support for care-experienced students currently in further education, guiding them through all areas of higher education. For a full list of our sessions, please view the brochure below.

What does this programme aim to do?

  • Encourage their potential
  • Consider individual needs
  • Provide specific, up-to-date support
  • Build confidence and resilience
  • Overcome challenges and misconceptions
  • Provide study skills to aid educational progression

Post-16 provision will be introduced using virtual delivery, hosted on the NERAP website. Each student will have access to their own profile in which they can track their progress. They will also receive awards and badges to symbolise their achievements, also having the ability to log the transferable skills they gain throughout.
