We dispel the myths about Student Finance and take pupils through what money is available, the repayment process and relieve some common concerns that students and parents have with regards to finance. This session also outlines the support available to students in the form of bursaries, and how they can earn while they study. This activity can be delivered either as a classroom session, or an assembly.

With an introduction to the application process for student finance as well as the opportunity to ask their questions, students leave this session with clear understanding of the entire student finance process, from when to apply to how repayment works. Our team will discuss the difference between a tuition fee loan and a maintenance loan as well as covering how the amounts are calculated and how much students could receive. This session also outlines the support available to students in the form of bursaries, and how they can earn while they study. We’ll round the session off by answering any questions students still have and sharing links to the Student Finance England so students can look at how much they could be eligible for while they study.
