International Women’s Day is an annual global celebration of the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. It is a day to focus on how far women have come but also a day where we can collectively focus on the work that still needs to be undertaken.
The theme of this years IWD is #EmbraceEquality; panels will be discussing their individual experiences, followed by a Q&A session where pupils and attendees alike will be able to put forward their experiences and ask questions to the panel.
