The North East Raising Aspiration Partnership is committed to making sure parents and carers in the North East receive the most up to date and topical information about university. Our Graduate Ambassador team regularly attend progression and options evenings, being there to support parents and students alike.
University Explained is a joint event between the five North East Universities and can help you support your son or daughter in the decisions they will have to make regarding university.
This year’s event will be held at Durham University on Saturday 4th November. Bookings will open shortly.
The programme will offer a range of informal sessions that address common questions, such as:
- Which course and university?
- What happens during the application process?
- What financial and transitional support is offered for students?
- What are the career options?
The event is aimed at parents/carers of pupils who are currently studying in Year 10, 11 or 12/first-year college, but open to any parent/carer who has an interest in finding out more.
