Foster Family Fun Days

Throughout the year we offer a range of bespoke Foster Family Fun Days aimed at Looked After Young People in Years 7 – 9 at school. The workshops are suitable for the whole family and young people must be accompanied by an adult. The workshops are fun, interactive and suitable for adults, children and teens alike. Our workshops encompass specific subjects but are aimed to be fun, exciting and interactive.

Our Eggcellent Engineering fun day gave everyone the chance to test their engineering skills, build their own buoyant boat and explore exciting inventions and technology in our interactive family games- a great day all round!

The data collected through this form and during the Foster Family Fun Day activities will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998), used for selection purposes and to administer and manage the application. In addition, this data may also be shared with and used by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), your local authority, Durham University, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, the University of Sunderland and Teesside University, for monitoring purposes to help evaluate the effectiveness of this activity. These parties will not use this young person’s record in any way that would affect them individually nor will any resulting report or statistics be made available in a form that identifies a young person individually. We may contact you about future events and activities similar to this one to help support your young people further.
