HELOA London Group is proud to host the fourth annual HE Awareness Day for students from a care background and their carers. Social workers and Virtual Heads are also encouraged to attend with the young people they work with to learn more about what universities in London offer their students.
Hosted by Queen Mary University of London on 26th October 2016, the event will provide Year 11 to Year 13 students with a taste of university, and the opportunity to speak to Widening Participation staff, Recruitment staff and care experience students from a range of London universities.
The event is free of charge and HELOA London can reimburse part or whole travel costs for students up to a limit. (Please get in touch before booking travel tickets to confirm this).
Please note that any adults should accompany at least one student, and either book a group ticket or book on behalf of students if they are unable to do this themselves. If you are unable to bring a student but would like to attend please contact them directly.
